The Westermo range of industrial current loop converters provides a solution for point to point applications where RS-232 data needs transmitting over 20mA current loop. Our current loop converters can be set to either active or passive on both the transmitter and receiver and allow transmission up to 6km. Designed for use in harsh environments, the Westermo RS-232 to 20mA current loop converters ensure communications over long distances and in environments with high levels of interference.
